1960s-2000
Fulcrum’s heritage stems from its origins as part of the gas board. It was the business that completed every new gas connection, gas disconnection and gas alteration in the UK.
2001
Fulcrum (formerly Transco Connections) becomes the new gas connections division of National Grid, delivering thousands of utility connections, nationwide, each year.
2005
Fulcrum is established as an Independent multi-utility connections business, operating nationwide.
2007
Fulcrum becomes an IGT (Independent Gas Transporter). Owning and operating gas infrastructure across the UK.
2010
Fulcrum becomes an independent, investor-owned multi-utility connections business.
2012
Fulcrum designs and installs some of the Olympic Games’ most critical gas infrastructure, including the connection to the Olympic flame.
2018
Fulcrum becomes an IDNO (Independent Distribution Network Operator). Owning and operating electricity infrastructure across the UK.
2018
Fulcrum Group is created. The multi-utility connection specialist, Fulcrum, is joined by the High Voltage Design and Build specialist, Dunamis and the High Voltage installation and maintenance specialist, Maintech Power.
2019 - today
Fulcrum continues to develop its multi-utility service offering and is committed to delivering the best service and the best value utility connections in the UK.
